When human beings experience trauma or severe life stressors, it is not uncommon for their lives to unravel. My greatest passion is bringing healing to people who have been through a traumatic/stressful experience. I help my clients, including children, adults and families, to find healthy perceptions of themselves and strengthen their relationships so they can know themselves as peaceful, complete, whole and safe.

I know that no single approach is the right one for every individual and so I have been trained in a range of modalities.

Today, society is more complex and we have increasingly complicated families. Most families are now blended families and having grown up in a family where there was divorce and a step-family, I understand the challenges one can face.

I believe marriage can be the greatest gift but that doesn’t mean it’s easy.

I offer therapy for pre-marriage, marriage, and post-marriage.

Sometimes relationships go into decline, whether due to the arrival of children or caused by infidelity, or simply moving apart. We can jointly explore the issues with your spouse, and I can act as an impartial intermediary. I don’t take sides, and I can help identify some of the issues and patterns that are causing friction.

If you’ve been bereaved, it can help to talk to someone in confidence about your loss. I would love to help you process your grief and navigate to a new normal.

When separating, many couples have found it helpful to talk to me, either together or, more usually, separately.

You may want to discuss your anger and grief about your relationship. And you may find it helpful to talk with me about whether you can achieve acceptance, and even mapping out a new future.
